Our Methodology

How we review tools, build comparisons, and maintain the accuracy of everything on aiseo.is.

How We Review Tools

Every tool listed on aiseo.is goes through a structured evaluation process. We assess tools across five core dimensions:

  • Features — What the tool actually does, how its AI capabilities work, and whether the feature set delivers on its promises.
  • Pricing — How pricing tiers are structured, what you get at each level, and how costs compare to alternatives in the same category.
  • User experience — How intuitive the interface is, the learning curve for new users, and the quality of onboarding and documentation.
  • Integrations — How well the tool connects with other platforms, APIs, and common SEO workflows.
  • Community sentiment — What real users are saying across review sites, forums, and social channels.

We prioritize hands-on testing over marketing claims. If a tool says it uses AI to generate content briefs, we generate content briefs with it and evaluate the output quality directly.

How Comparisons Work

Head-to-head comparisons on aiseo.is select winners across specific categories: best for budget-conscious users, best for enterprise teams, best for features, and best for ease of use. These are not algorithmically generated scores.

Each comparison is an editorial judgment based on hands-on testing, feature analysis, and an understanding of what different user segments need. When we say a tool wins in a category, it is because we have tested both tools and formed a clear opinion based on the evidence.

We take positions. If one tool is clearly better than another for a specific use case, the comparison says so directly. No diplomatic hedging, no “both are great” cop-outs.

AI-Assisted Content

aiseo.is is transparent about its use of AI in the content creation process. Research and initial drafting are assisted by AI tools, which help with gathering information, structuring content, and maintaining consistency across hundreds of pages.

However, all opinions, recommendations, and factual claims are verified by the editorial team. AI helps with the heavy lifting of research and drafting, but the editorial perspective, accuracy checks, and final judgments are human-driven.

We believe this hybrid approach allows us to cover a broader landscape of tools while maintaining the editorial quality and accuracy that practitioners depend on.

Pricing Accuracy

Pricing information on aiseo.is is verified periodically against official vendor websites. Each tool listing includes a lastVerified date that indicates when the pricing was last confirmed.

SaaS pricing changes frequently. Tools may update their pricing tiers, adjust feature limits, or restructure their plans without notice. While we work to keep our information current, you should always verify pricing directly on the vendor’s website before making a purchasing decision.

If you notice outdated pricing on any tool listing, please let us know so we can update it promptly.

How to Report Errors

Accuracy is a core editorial value. If you spot incorrect information on any page — whether it is a wrong price, outdated feature, broken link, or factual error — we want to hear about it.

Visit our contact page and select “Tool Correction” as the subject. Include the URL of the page with the error and a description of what needs to be corrected. We typically address corrections within 48 hours.
